Kediaman rasmi Yang di-Pertuan Agong, iaitu Istana Negara, juga terletak di Kuala Lumpur. Bandar raya ini juga merupakan pusat kebudayaan dan ekonomi Malaysia kerana kedudukannya selaku ibu negara dan bandar raya primat.[9] Kuala Lumpur ditarafkan sebagai bandaraya dunia alfa, dan juga satu-satunya bandar raya global di Malaysia, menurut Globalization and World Cities Study Group and Network (GaWC).[10] Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur ialah salah satu daripada tiga buah Wilayah Persekutuan Malaysia, dan juga sebuah enklaf dalam negeri Selangor, di pantai barat tengah Semenanjung Malaysia.[11] Semenjak 1990-an, bandar raya ini menjadi tuan rumah kepada berbilang acara sukan, politik dan kebudayaan, termasuk Sukan Komanwel 1998 dan Kejohanan Dunia Formula Satu.[12] Selain itu, di Kuala Lumpur terdirinya menara berkembar tertinggi di dunia, iaitu Menara Berkembar Petronas.[13] Kuala Lumpur dihubungkan dengan dunia luar oleh dua buah lapangan terbang, iaitu Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur (KLIA) di Sepang dan Lapangan Terbang Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah yang kini hanya berkhidmat untuk penerbangan dalam negara. Kuala Lumpur juga merupakan bandar raya besar di tengah di Semenanjung Malaysia, iaitu di antara Pulau Pinang, Ipoh, dan Johor Bahru. Perjalanan ke Butterworth dan Padang Besar ialah sepanjang 450 km dari Kuala Lumpur melalui keretapi tren ETS yang hanya menggunakan 3 jam dan 5 jam. Keretapi tren ETS juga banyak membantu masyarakat Kuala Lumpur. Pada zaman ini, masa keretapi laju ini dijangka 5 jam untuk tiba di Padang Besar di Perlis, iaitu bandar dan negeri terakhir lintasan keretapi Malaysia. Jadi, jam diambil sampai ke destinasi keretapi laju Malaysia ini adalah serentak dengan jam keretapi laju di China iaitu dari Shanghai ke Beijing yang juga menggunakan 5 jam. Sebaliknya, perjalanan untuk pergi ke bandar raya dunia, Singapura juga melibatkan 350 km sahaja melalui lebuh raya. Terdapat pelbagai jenis bas di Kuala Lumpur dan Singapura ini adalah berbolak-balik di atas laluan Kuala Lumpur-Johor Bahru ini. Tegasnya, servis bas ini juga banyak membantu masyarakat dan pelajar Johor di Kuala Lumpur untuk balik ke kampung menjelang musim perayaan dan cuti semester.

Field Engineer (E&I/Structural/Planning)

Responsibilities:
  • Planning and coordinating project construction activities.
  • Perform and manage specific field operations at the operations base and the wellsite, which includes; equipment maintenance, job planning, equipment preparation at the operations base, equipment load out, equipment reception at the wellsite, reception testing of operating equipment at the wellsite, installation or rig up of equipment at the wellsite, operation of equipment, wellsite trouble shooting, rig down of equipment, operational reporting to the client and direct manager.
  • Managing well site operations and must insure service quality and that all activities are performed in accordance with the company’s environmental and safety requirements.
  • Responsible for preparation of work packs, managing crew and appraising subordinates, consistent with performance management objectives. 

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Oil and Gas industry (compulsory).
  • A team player with good planning/organizing skills, problem solving, proactive, disciplined, able to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Familiar with ASME, EMEPMI GS, design codes and standards, oil and gas industry construction practices, project management skills.
  • Knowledge in Primavera P6 Software (for Planning Engineer).
  • Experience in both onshore and offshore construction/HUC.
