Technical Sales Executive
(Selangor)

Responsibilities:

To execute company sales direction in meeting the required sales and profit target.Meeting the Account receivable goal and keep the inventory targets low.Regular customer visits, and ensure customer needs are met.

• To maintain and increase market share in the specified region of responsibility.
• Works closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager  execute the directive set in term new project, new segment and products .
• Identifies, analyzes, and meets client technical needs while continuously looking into new businesses.
• Controlling on direct marketing expenditure and gives business projection for future opportunities.
• Regularly report market situation to Sales and Marketing manager on the sales activities .
• Feedback the highlight/lowlights of the market environment change and competition activities.
• Achieving sales turnover budget for customers for whom the incumbent is responsible.
• Costing and preparing quotations for custom colour masterbatches to ensure an overall gross margin of minimum 28.0% is achieved for the customers for whom the incumbent is responsible.
• Identifying and targeting new business opportunities according to annual agreed objectives.
• Maintenance of regular contact with key customers to enhance business partnership relationships with the Division’s customer base.
• Provision of full service support to customers to ensure their aspirations and requirements are met.
• Ensuring continuous quality improvement occurs within the incumbent’s region of responsibility, by identifying and addressing corrective actions arising from service and/or quality complaints.
• Ensuring the Marketing Manager is regularly updated via reports with intelligence on key customer and competitor activities.
• Maintenance of industry knowledge in terms of new products and developments, including participation in industry associations, meetings, seminars etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or (3) to five (5) years experience in specialty chemical, polymer and masterbatches would be the advantage.
• Persistence characteristic in follow up.
• Strong interpersonal skill; calm and firm in handling objection.
