Senior Draftsman
Selangor
Responsibilities:
- To lead the drafting team
- To ensure drawings meet the International Codes, Standards and Specifications
- To train draftsman to read and understand technical sketches/drawings
- To develop engineering solution to meet the demands of customers
- To identify and implement good engineering practices and procedures
- Manage drafting activities
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent
- 8 years of drafting experience (including 5 years in leading the drafting team) specifically in the Power Plant, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Building Services and related industries
- Good knowledge in AUTOCAD software, AVEVA (PDMS),AutoCAD, Cadworx Plant 3D, Naviswork
- Proficient in spoken & written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to be stationed overseas for a long duration.
Lead Piping Engineer
Selangor
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for:-
- Check and review ITB documents
- Make clarification/deviation lists of ITB documents
- Prepare piping stress analysis procedure
- Analyze piping stresses for critical lines using CAESAR II etc, to realize stable piping systems
- Instruct and/or review piping loading data to other disciplines
Prepare specifications for piping mechanical supports, such as bellows, spring & snubber, etc. - Prepare supports package including special supports design
- Prepare piping stress analysis reports
- Check and review vendor documents for piping mechanical supports
- Instruct and coordinate subordinates, such as junior piping stress analysis engineers
- Coordinate and/or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years working experience preferably in Power Plant/ Renewable Energy industry.
- Experience in piping engineering at the construction site would be added advantage
- Good English communication skills
- Knowledge of standard international styles of business communication and experience in the preparation of business and technical documentation.
- Mobile and willing to be stationed overseas as of when is required.
