Financial Controller
A Financial Services company - Kuala Lumpur - Financial Controller Kualalumpur, Malaysia You will be managing the financial and management reporting function as well as be responsible for establishing the accounting system, procedure and processes. You will spearhead new projects that will impact the Finance functions. Your role will also entails preparation of the annual accounts for local statutory filing as well as liaise with external auditors, tax, and statutory/ regulatory bodies. You will also assist with trade finance matters (such as LCs and hedge documentation) as well as the preparation of bank trade and deal contracts. There will also be HR and administrative responsibilities for the role in the set up stage. You must have a degree in Accountancy with more than 10 years of work experience, with a strong hands-on knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting and financial accounting.
