Lead Instrument Designer - Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur - Purpose of Job: Lead Instrument design efforts for projects related to oil and gas industry. This will include supporting Electrical and Instrumentation Engineers and Lead Designers with development of design and drawings. Monitor the team to efficiently and accurately develop wiring and installation drawings for instrumentation systems. This job requires interaction with designers and engineers within the engineering group, and from other disciplines, in a team environment to create multi-discipline design packages for construction and fabrication. Area(s) of Responsibility: Assist engineers with initial design and drawing requirements. Establish drawings set-up procedures applicable to the job for drafting personnel. Conceptualize plans, details and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements. Check and back-check drawings produced by drafting personnel.
