Our client is a US-based company specialised in manufacturing of industrial thermal system solutions. The incumbent will be based in Singapore or Malaysia.

 

Snr Application & Project Engineer (Ref: BZ 1083)

West (Singapore)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical quotations and tender documents accurately for timely submission
• Provide technical pre/post-sales support and guidance to sales channel and direct accounts
• Serve as the main technical contact and interface between company, reseller and direct accounts
• Provide technical trade show support with setup and applications
• Design, communicate and implement an operational plan for completing project
• Liaise with EPC company, clients and consultants
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan
• Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
• Identify, develop and gather the resources necessary to complete the project
• Prepare engineering standards, designs and work specifications
• Develop project schedule, budget and forecast
• Estimate costs, resources and time required to complete the project
• Obtain drawing approvals
• Oversee shipment and documentation
• Liaise with other areas to secure specialized resources and contributions to the project
• Select and manage external partners to ensure that they are integrated into the project and that the company receives satisfactory standard of service and value
• Conduct project meetings, attend site visits and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of project within and beyond the project team
• Set priorities, allocate tasks, coordinate and monitor activities to meet project targets and milestones

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering 5 years’ experience in a reputed company engaged in oil/gas, petrochemical /chemical or related projects, Preferably with experience in pressure vessels Skillful in proposal preparation, technical interaction with consultants & clients, project execution monitoring and interaction with vendors
